Causes and Treatment for Diabetic Neuropathy

Diabetic neuropathy can cause pain, burning, even amputations! You should regularly visit a podiatrist in order to prevent the complications associated with diabetic neuropathy.

  1. To prevent neuropathy from affecting their feet, diabetics must go to their foot doctors for regularly checkups to see if there are no cuts or blisters on their feet due to their shoes. It's also important to clean the shoes free them from small stones and sharp objects, as these can cause cuts and wounds.
